As part of its continued effort to closely follow the projects and NGOs that benefit from its support, the EYF visited a pilot activity organised by Trade Union Educational Centre in Stanari, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 1 and 2 July.

The activity was part of “Youth voice for spreading out democracy”, a 4-months project that aims at empowering young people to be more involved in local decision-making and activism, through capacity building and creation of opportunities for youth participation, in cooperation with the municipality. After the training, participants will explore possibilities to create change and disseminate what they have learned with their community.

This visit was also an opportunity to further understand the reality of the NGO and young people they work with, and to present the EYF and share its funding opportunities, which raised particular interest among some of the participants in the process of creating youth organisations.
