On 3 and 4 August 2023 the EYF Secretariat carried out a monitoring visit to the pilot activity “Anti Social Social Park – Where ideas meet music” organised by Vaioltre Association in Volterra, Italy.

The project reimagined a public park in Volterra in order to organise a youth-led festival combining conferences, artistic performances and workshops. While the festival’s various events were open to the public and attracted young people from the region, the event also gathered a group of 30 participants from across Italy to engage in a training focusing on capacity building and development of young activists. This pilot activity seeks to create a space to activate local young people, explore options to make the area more youth friendly and promote youth participation.
