In October 2023, two pilot activities have been awarded by the Programming Committee on Youth within the special call Ukraine. Those activities will focus on promoting inclusivity, social cohesion, and personal development among the participants and the broader community as well as will respond to the needs of young Ukrainian refugees.

The special call to support young people from Ukraine was launched in 2022 following the decision of the Council of Europe’s Joint Council of Youth. This initiative responds to the current needs expressed by the Ukrainian authorities and stakeholders in the field of youth. At 20 October 2023, there were 21 projects awarded, for a total amount of €307 890.
