The European Youth Foundation is visiting projects it is supporting and run by non-governmental youth organisations.

Through the visits the Foundation expects to increase the visibility of the EYF and the Council of Europe; give feedback to the Programming Committee on Youth (more about the Committee); establish contact with youth NGOs; get to know NGOs and the work they do.

Visited projects are organised by non-governmental youth organisations (NGOs) which are registered with the Foundation and received a grant. (More information on the application process).

Monitoring visit to an international activity organised by SZMISZ in Slovakia on youth participation

On March 12th and 13th, the European Youth Foundation conducted a monitoring visit to the international activity organized by the Slovak Hungarian Youth Association in partnership with Young European Federalists Hungary, EUnexus from Estonia and MIERT - Magyar Ifjusagi Ertekezlet.

The event brought together 26 participants from 8 countries in Dunajská Streda, Slovakia to explore topics around youth participation, democracy, and active citizenship. Over the course of 7 days, participants gained knowledge to enhance their civic engagement. By the end of the training, participants will return to their local organizations with action plans focused on effective strategies to boost youth involvement within their communities.
