On 25 March 2025, the European Youth Foundation conducted a monitoring visit to the first international activity “Meaningful Youth engagement workshop” of the 2025 annual work plan “Meaningful Youth Exchange for Solidarity” implemented by the International Cultural Youth Exchange Federation (ICYE).

The training activity, held over five days (22–26 March) in Lystrup, Allingabro region, Denmark, brought together 18 participants from 12 countries to explore and deepen their understanding of meaningful youth engagement in youth engagement committee of ICYE. Through workshops based on non-formal education approaches, participants strengthened their public speaking skills and enhanced their communication abilities to promote inclusion, diversity, and decolonization in their advocacy work. They developed communication action plans and social media campaigns on youth engagement, which will be further refined in the next phase of the annual work plan scheduled for May 2025.
