Beneficiaries and partners of the EU and Council of Europe joint Action on “Freedom of Expression and Freedom of the Media in South-East Europe - JUFREX” confirmed their future efforts and commitment to  strengthen freedom of expression and freedom of the media in the Western Balkans members, in line with European standards. This was underlined during the 1st Steering Committee meeting of JUFREX Action that took place on 16 October 2020 in a form of online meeting, attended by representatives of European Union, Council of Europe and project beneficiaries.
