A two-day workshop enhanced the skills of 15 staff members from the National Agency for the Prevention and Combating of Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence.
The training focused on monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on the implementation of the National Programme on the Prevention and Combating of Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence for 2023–2027.
Facilitated by international expert Biljana Brankovic and national expert Andrei Brighidin, the sessions addressed requirements of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (Istanbul Convention), including data collection, coordinated national policies and key findings from the baseline evaluation report by the Group of Experts on Action against Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (GREVIO).
Participants also explored internationally recognised evaluation criteria and practices for developing high-quality, evidence-based reports.
The event was organised within the framework of the Council of Europe’s project “Supporting the implementation of the Istanbul Convention in the Republic of Moldova – phase II”.
