About Helena

I grew up in Berlin, but it was when going to a democratic school in England that I developed deep interest in the ways education could be a vehicle for positive change. Following this interest, I completed a BA in Education at the University of Cambridge in 2023. Since February 2024, I have been an Journal Editor of the UK's National Association for Environmental Education. I currently work as a Teaching Assistant in primary education - a highly rewarding occupation - but I am excited to embark on the Council of Europe's traineeship programme, supporting the Education Department, in October 2024.
