Main Priorities / Focus areas in the Action Plan
The plan is split into the three main objectives:
- Ensuring the State’s duty to protect, defend and respect human rights.
- Promoting corporate responsibility and respect in the field of business and human rights.
- Ensuring access to effective remedy.
Within each objective the plan sets out a number of focus areas, such as anti-corruption, equality and non-discrimination, sustainable development, civil procedure, mediation and collective dispute regulation. It then details existing and planned measures.
For a number of these measures, references are given to other action plans and government entities as the plan is to be implemented as part of an overall Government programme.
