The Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research and the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs have comissioned the management and consultancy firm "twentyfifty" to organise awareness-raising events and trainings on the theme "business and human rights" for companies, associations, economic institutions and interested chambers of commerce.
Depending on the needs of partner organisations, training can take the following forms:
- Awareness-raising events: an introduction to human rights due diligence processes by companies and presentation of the Confederation's strategy.
- Workshops: a practical study of the requirements that arise from business due diligence processes, understanding the context and identifing the first steps companies can take.
- Training: a thorough study of human rights due diligence processes and integration into the company's processes.
- Business coaching: integration of human rights diligence in the company.
The training aims to raise Swiss companies' awareness of the human rights issues and to communicate the Federal Council's expectations of Swiss companies. They are offered to Swiss companies of various sizes and sectors.
Finally, also aims to make the training affordable for Swiss Small and Medium Sized Enterprises and allows an exchange of experiences and good practices among businesses.
