Migration and human rights
The steering Committee for Human Rights (CDDH) has been entrusted by the Committee of Ministers with the task of conducting an analysis on the legal and practical aspects of specific migration-related human rights issues, in particular, effective alternatives to administrative detention of migrants and asylum seekers.
This work is conducted in light of the relevant case-law of the Court and other instruments of the Council of Europe.
