The Conference of the Parties (COP) to the Convention on Laundering, Search, Seizure and Confiscation of the Proceeds from Crime and on the Financing of Terrorism held its 14th plenary meeting on 15 and 16 November 2022.
The COP adopted the Thematic Monitoring Report on application of Article 6 of the Convention CETS 198 on asset management; amendments to the 2018-2021 thematic monitoring reports for Austria; and the follow-up report on Articles 11 and 25.
The plenary heard presentations and exchanged views with representatives of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Secretariat, and the Public Prosecutor - Deputy Director of the Belgian Centre on Seizure and Confiscation Mr Walter Quirynen.
The plenary adopted an Interpretative Note on Article 10 of the Convention on Corporate Criminal Liability.
