Conference on “Addressing Homelessness through Social Investment”
A conference on the theme “Addressing Homelessness through Social Investment” will be organised by the Council of Europe and the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB).
In the context of a Europe facing an alarming homelessness crisis, addressing this issue on the political agenda is crucial for enhancing social support and funding sustainable housing solutions.
This event will aim at exploring the political, practical, and financial aspects of this urgent challenge. The conference will feature high-profile speakers, including social scientists, policymakers, and financing experts. Opening remarks will be made by Ambassador Patrick Engelberg, Permanent Representative of Luxembourg to the Council of Europe, Gianluca Esposito, Director General of Human Rights and Rule of Law (Council of Europe), Tomáš Boček, Vice-Governor Target Group countries (CEB) and Johannes Böhmer, Vice-Governor Social Development Strategy (CEB).
