On 20-22 September 2023, in the framework of its Visiting Professionals Scheme, the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) received the delegations from Cyprus, Hungary, Ireland, Lithuania, and Romania. The visit was organised to enhance capacity building through the transmission of judicial Know-How and to foster exchange and better communication in the context of the Superior Courts Network.

Over the course of the three-day event, participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences between each other, as well as learn from the ECtHR on the topics such as judicial decision-making and its organisation; standardised case work; continuing legal education and many others.

The TJENI project was able to support the visit of four of the mentioned delegation as a substantial part of the visit was dedicated to discussing tools for effective case management; digitalisation; as well as anonymisation and protection of personal data in proceedings.
