The Working Group of the High Prosecutorial Council developed the Draft Rules of Procedure of the Commission for monitoring proper case allocation

The draft Rules of Procedure of the Commission for monitoring proper case allocation were developed by the Working Group of the High Prosecutorial Council at the meeting in Srebrno jezero held on 10-11 April 2024 with the support of the project "Support for the Implementation of Judicial Reform in Serbia". Several members of the High Prosecutorial Council took part at the meeting, as well as the representatives of professional associations of prosecutors.

The initial Draft Rules of Procedure of the Commission for monitoring proper case allocation were prepared by the local Council of Europe expert based on the new legal framework, to enable discussion of the working group members. This bylaw regulates the organisation of work and composition of the Commission, the rights and duties of its members, the decision-making process and transparency of the work and decisions of the Commission.

The Rules of Procedure of the Commission for monitoring proper case allocation is one of the final bylaws that should be adopted by the High Prosecutorial Council within the one-year deadline for the adoption of implementation bylaws. The project "Support for the Implementation of Judicial Reform in Serbia" project will continue to support the High Prosecutorial Council in the reform related activities.
