We are delighted to announce this year’s third and latest addition to the ICC family, by welcoming the city of Camden into the ICC Programme, joining both the international and ICC UK Network.
Camden is a diverse, vibrant and welcoming London borough with a rich history of activism and grassroots movements. With a population of more than 250 000 citizens (2018 census data), Camden is a cultural melting pot that welcomes citizens from all over the world, with a rich heritage that sees 162 languages and dialects spoken in its schools by Camden-resident children.
Its geographic position in central London and the business environment created has enabled it to become one of the most important business locations in the country: it is home to the second highest number of business in London after Westminster and is 3rd highest in the UK. It is also home to 11 higher education institutions and to more than 27 000 higher education students, the largest student population in London.
We look forward to a successful cooperation with our new partners, supporting them in their commitment to create a place that works for everyone, and where everybody has a voice.
