Marta Pérez Ramírez has worked as manager and evaluator of European projects on migration, asylum and diversity management in Valencia, London and Barcelona. She has coordinated the project DELI – Diversity in the Economy and Local Integration at local level (Lewisham, United Kingdom) led by the Council of Europe. Between 2016 and 2019 she has worked in CER-Migracions, a research centre on migration (UAB-UB).
She currently works at Diversit – Asociación Ciudades Interculturales (ACI) – providing support and advice to municipalities on intercultural policymaking and the antirumours approach, such as capacity building, designing intercultural strategies and antirumours strategies, as well as conducting diagnosis (needs assessments and statistical analyses). In addition, she supports the production of guidance documents or policy briefs on topics related to the intercultural approach (participation, intercultural competences) and antirumours approach. ACI manages the Spanish Network of Intercultural Cities and the Antirumours Global programme.
Further, she is an analyst on migration issues and has published articles for different media and think tanks and collaborates with some third sector organisations in the field of migration, international protection and integration.
