Limassol is a port city between three continents - bridging ancient and modern civilisations and cultures, with a rich history of almost 10,000 years.
It is proud of the fact that the cultural diversity is a part of everyday life. Diversity is celebrated through “Musical Footprints” – a festival organised by the cultural Movement “Epilogi” with numerous cultural and migrants’ associations as partners, including Limassol’s Intercultural Council.
The programme “Limassol: one city, the whole world” includes a wide range of actions and activities aimed at the smooth and effective integration of migrants into Cypriot Society. Its implementation has been underway since 2013, co-funded by the EU Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and the Republic of Cyprus.
