The Council of Europe, in cooperation with the Permanent Representation of Albania to the United Nations, is organising a side event on "Raising awareness to prevent violence against women and domestic violence : The Council of Europe Istanbul Convention's Contribution to UN Sustainable Development Goal 5 : achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls".
