Today, in Strasbourg, in the presence of Ms Gabriella Battaini - Dragoni, Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Ambassador Miroslav Papa, Permanent Representative of Croatia to the Council of Europe, deposited the instrument of ratification of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (CETS No.210), by Croatia.

The Convention will enter into force, as regards Croatia, on the 1st of October 2018.

Croatia becomes the 31st State to ratify the Convention (more).
