The Council of Europe Project "Youth for Democracy in Ukraine: Phase III", in co-operation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Association of Youth Councils, has launched the development of the concept of a youth-friendly educational resource with standards, tools and resources to strengthen youth participation.
On 28 September 2023, the participants of the training seminar on social cohesion and inclusion, civic participation and democratic citizenship, non-discrimination and equality for young activists discussed the concept of a youth-friendly educational resource to strengthen youth participation and offered different visions for the format, content and further use.

Based on the proposed ideas, it is planned to develop a concept of an educational resource in 2023, and in 2024 to create a prototype of such a resource for piloting.
The Council of Europe Project "Youth for Democracy in Ukraine: Phase III" in co-operation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Association of Youth Councils held a training seminar on social cohesion and inclusion, civic participation and democratic citizenship, non-discrimination and equality for young activists, which took place from 25 to 29 September 2023 in Lviv.
The aim of the training seminar was to strengthen the capacity of young activists to participate in democratic processes, taking into account approaches to participation in decision-making, equality and non-discrimination to ensure social cohesion.

The project "Youth for Democracy in Ukraine: Phase III" is implemented within the framework of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine 2023-2026 and is based on the results and experience of the projects "Youth for Democracy in Ukraine" in 2020-2022. The project will expand the systematic impact by strengthening youth participation policies and strengthening youth work during the war and in the post-war context, taking into account the specific needs of young people.
