In response to the needs of key national and local partners in Ukraine, the Council of Europe projects "Facilitating access to human rights and essential services for internally displaced persons and returnees at the community level" and "Youth for Democracy in Ukraine: Phase III" launch a new Programme “Trauma-informed approach in the context of access to human rights and essential services for internally displaced persons and returnees".
As a result of the Programme, it is expected that IDP-led organisations, NGOs from host communities will apply trauma-informed approach in their activities for IDPs and returnees. This will allow a) to improve the quality of social, legal and administrative services and b) to strengthen resilience and social cohesion in host communities.
The following professional profiles are welcome to express their interests for participation in the Programme:
- social workers, psychologists, consultants of IDP-led initiative groups and organisations, and NGOs from host communities;
- youth workers and employees of national, regional and local youth centres and organisations from all regions of Ukraine of any form of ownership, including displaced (relocated) ones.
