Conference “The impact of criminal misdemeanours on human rights and criminal justice in Ukraine”

Since 1 July 2020 the important reform of criminal law and procedure –criminal misdemeanours – became operational. The time has come to make first assessment of its work and share experiences between criminal justice professionals involved. If you are interested:

  • How criminal misdemeanours changed the practice of the National Police, public prosecution service, courts
  • Are there any improvements or treats to the rights of the defendants in misdemeanours proceedings
  • Criminal misdemeanours from the point of view of European human rights standards and comparative look at its work in other countries
