On 11-12 March 2020 the Council of Europe Programme on “Decentralisation and local government reform in Ukraine” in co-operation with the Chernihiv Regional Training Centre delivered the Special Short-Term Training Programme “Modern Tools of Human Resources Management in Local Authorities” for representatives of local authorities of Chernihiv Oblast.
The Training Programme was developed at the request of the Chernihiv Oblast Council and Chernihiv Oblast State Administration and registered in the National Knowledge Management Portal.
The support of the Council of Europe resulted in strengthening the capacity of Chernihiv Regional Training Centre to deliver modern and practically oriented training programmes, as well as in enhancing institutional capacities of local authorities of Chernihiv Oblast to deliver better services using HRM tools and policies and developing personal capacities of local officials to use modern HRM instrument based on the Council of Europe expertise and best practices in the framework of local self-government, decentralisation and public administration reforms.
