PACE President Tiny Kox, in a message to mark the 32nd anniversary of the independence of Ukraine, has again pledged the Council of Europe’s unwavering support to Ukraine to regain its national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He condemned Russia’s war of aggression “as a blatant violation of international law” and called on Russia to immediately end this illegal war that has already done so much harm to Ukrainian citizens but also to peace and prosperity in Europe.

“Citizens of Ukraine, be aware, we are with you as long as it takes,” Mr Kox concluded.
