On 23 December 2016 the Minregion Task Force on strategic planning for decentralisation process in Ukraine was organised with support of the Council of Europe Programme “Decentralisation and Territorial Consolidation in Ukraine”. The aim of the event that was held under the chairmanship of the Vice-Prime-Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Municipal Economy of Ukraine Mr Hennadiy ZUBKO and First Deputy Minister Mr Vyacheslav NEHODA is to develop the set of consolidated proposals for the draft Governmental priorities for the 2017 as well as to the draft Action plan on implementation of local self-government reform in Ukraine in 2017 in co-operation with the main state, local and international counterparts and beneficiaries of the Minregion.
