On July 15-16, 2024, with the support of the Council of Europe, a training session for trainee prosecutors was conducted as part of their initial training at the Prosecutors’ Training Center of Ukraine. The training focused on the application of articles of the European Convention on Human Rights.

The training sessions were conducted by national consultants of the Council of Europe: Oleksandra Yanovska, Markiyan Bem, and Nazar Kulchytskyi. A total of 167 trainee prosecutors participated in the training, comprising 76 women and 91 men.

The training was organised within the framework of the Council of Europe project "Fostering Human Rights in the Criminal Justice System in Ukraine", which is part of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine "Resilience, Recovery, and Reconstruction" for 2023-2026.
