On June 21, the SASG participated in the Interactive dialogue on the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights periodic report on Ukraine. The meeting took place in the framework of the 35th session of the UN Human Rights Council. The Special Adviser informed members of the Human Rights Council and Office of the UN Commissioner about current and future priorities of cooperation between the Council of Europe and Ukraine. He also underlined that the CoE is ready to continue its partnership with the UN, EU and other international allies aiming at solid and effective implementation of the reforms, with a view to improve the daily life of the Ukrainian population and ensure full respect of the Council of Europe three pillars: democracy, rule of law and human rights in the country.
