Meeting organised by the Council of Europe Directorate of Democratic Governance – European Landscape Convention, in cooperation with the Landscape Conservation Division of the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs of Turkey.
Description: Five Workshops analysed the following themes:
- A journey in the landscapes of Turkey
- Landscape values and economic valuation
- Urban landscapes and economy
- Rural landscapes and economy
- Implementation tools, instruments and procedures
The Meeting was aimed at government officials, representatives of local and regional authorities, universities, professionals, public and private governmental and non-governmental organisations working in the fields of landscape, environment, heritage, culture and sustainable territorial development. The number of participants was limited to 130.
