In this unit, participants gain a deeper understanding of aspects of interpersonal relations in contemporary society. They experience differences in interpretation and ways of expression between people. They also learn to understand the mechanism of discrimination and discover and recognise the attitudes and actions that are inclusive towards people who are different, especially in a school setting. Finally, they learn to deal with challenges based on different ways of looking at a problem through the means of the famous Six Thinking Hats of De Bono.
The unit, developed within the Pestalozzi Programme, can be used at initial training of teachers in Primary and Secondary education.
