This training resource is designed to help teachers of physical education to create an inclusive environment for their students. It bolsters participants’ knowledge of the various forms of discrimination and teaches learners how to act against discrimination, prejudice, stereotypes and injustice. The training unit also provides activities on understanding inequality in physical education and sport. It explores methodological and pedagogical techniques on how to develop critical attitudes towards inappropriate strategies in physical education as well as helping teachers to create equal opportunities in sport, regardless of race, gender, etc.
This training unit can be used by teachers who deal with physical education in high schools. It provides activities such as group work, brainstorming and discussion.
