Back People in a changing world - dimensions of world views

This unit encourages teachers to reflect on their personal philosophy of education and the role of educators in a world of globalisation and change, based on the following three key questions:

  1. What person are we trying to educate, so that he/she can live in a multicultural and global world?
  2. How can we deal with the diversity of world views in the different dimensions of moral and psychological experience?
  3. How can we deal with diversity of philosophical and religious dimensions of world views?

The unit, developed within the Pestalozzi Programme, can be used at in-service training of teachers of lower and upper secondary education.
