Back Tell me your story

This resource, developed within the Pestalozzi Programme, is for teachers and trainers looking for ways to benefit from social and linguistic diversity and intercultural cooperation in the classroom. The material is organised around four different activities which make use of learning techniques such as individual and pair work, group discussions based on stories, works of art and moral imagination.

Using philosophical, critical and creative thinking techniques the participants explore intercultural understanding and misunderstanding. By working on concepts related to intercultural dialogue, learners see things from different points of view, thereby overcoming social, cultural and gender-related stereotypes, and thus contribute to prejudice and discrimination-free communication and cooperation.
