On 27 November, Chile signed the MEDICRIME Convention.

In total, there are 23 Parties to the Convention and a further 22 are signatories. Chile is the 16th non- Council of Europe member state having signed the MEDICRIME Convention.

This signature of the MEDICRIME convention testifies Chile’s strong desire to strengthen the fight against the scourge of falsified medical products and represents the culmination of long-term work launched by the Chilean authorities and the Secretariat of the Committee of the Parties to the MEDICRIME convention.

Chile is the 2nd American country having signed the MEDICRIME Convention.
