At the final stage of implementation of the joint European Union and Council of Europe programme “Reinforcing Judicial Expertise on Freedom of Expression and the Media in South-East Europe - JUFREX” (2016-2019), three publications were published in Montenegrin language and put at disposal of legal and media actors in Montenegro.
This publication was prepared by the Centre for Training in Judiciary and State Prosecution with aim to raise awareness on importance of freedom of expression and offer wide range of information relating to protection of this right. It offers practical guidelines for application of the European Convention on Human Rights, also providing translation of some standard setting judgements of the European Court of Human Rights related to the safety of journalists, access to information, protection of sources and Internet.
The aim of this publication is to contribute to a wider understanding of the concept of protection of minors from harmful content in audiovisual media services, the role of national regulatory authorities in this area and the need to involve various stakeholders providing a safe environment, both offline and on-line, for the development of children and minors. The publication was prepared in cooperation of media regulatory authorities from whole region, taking part in the JUFREX programme.
This publication, authored by Dominika Bychawska-Siniarska was prepared the Human Rights National Implementation Division of the Directorate General of Human Rights and Rule of Law, as a practical tool for legal professionals from Council of Europe member states who wish to strengthen their skills in applying the European Convention on Human Rights and the case law of the European Court of Human Rights in their daily work. The publication was translated into Montenegrin by Council of Europe and published under JUFREX programme.
