Due to the global Covid-19 pandemic and the various restrictions being imposed by national authorities, in particular on travel and on large gatherings, the 9th edition of the World Forum for Democracy « Can Democracy Save the Environment?” has been postponed until 8-10 November 2021.
Climate change, however, remains an urgent and existential threat to humanity. The need for awareness and action cannot be postponed. Therefore, in a true spirit of participatory democracy, the World Forum team will stay active and prepare for a series of online and interactive events, to be launched in November 2020, which will allow you to contribute to developing and curating the issues and will culminate in the holding of the 9th World Forum for Democracy, live, in Strasbourg in November next year.
