From 26 to 28 August 2024, the Council of Europe will welcome 250 students from 29 countries for three days of simulation of negotiations in English and French. The simulation will focus on the work of the Parliamentary Assembly (and its committees) and the Committee of Ministers.
Organised by the Permanent Representation of France to the Council of Europe and the Federation for Diplomacy and the United Nations (FDNU), this second edition of CoEMoN! will offer students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of European diplomacy, to engage in current affairs debates, negotiations, and showcase their skills in public speaking, reasoning and conflict resolution.
Participants will play the roles of parliamentarians and ambassadors from the 46 member states, aiming to raise awareness about the role and functioning of the Council of Europe.
