The European Committee of Social Rights (ECSR) will present its conclusions for 2019 on Tuesday 24 March 2020.
Due to restrictions related to the Covid-19 outbreak, the Committee will be unable to present the conclusions at a press conference. Instead they will be transmitted to the media via the Council of Europe Directorate of Communications and published on the European Social Charter’s website.
In 2019, in the framework of the reporting procedure, the Committee examined 37 national reports on the articles of the Charter relating to children, families and migrants.
Furthermore, the Committee will already make public its Findings 2019 in respect of seven countries on Friday 20 March: Croatia, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, the Netherlands, Norway, Slovenia and Sweden. Findings 2019 set out the Committee’s assessments of follow-up given by these countries to decisions in collective complaints.
