The latest case-by-case decisions on the implementation of judgments from the European Court of Human Rights have been published by the Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers.
The committee adopted 39 decisions concerning 21 member states at the end of its regular three-day meeting in Strasbourg.
Final resolutions were adopted by the committee in respect of 267 judgments and decisions from the Strasbourg court, concerning 20 different countries.
The committee also adopted an indicative list of cases to be examined at its next meeting on the execution of judgments, which will take place from 5 to 7 December.
Council of Europe member states are obliged to implement judgments from the European Court of Human Rights under Article 46 of the human rights convention.
The Committee of Ministers oversees the execution of judgments on the basis of information provided by the national authorities concerned, NGOs and other interested parties.
