Polish President Andrzej Duda today paid an official visit to the Council of Europe. Following a meeting with Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland, President Duda had an exchange of views with the Ministers’ Deputies. He also met with Guido Raimondi, President of the European Court of Human Rights.
On the occasion of this visit, which marks the 25th anniversary of Poland’s accession to the Council of Europe, President Duda attended the Presentation Ceremony of the gift from his country to the Organisation, the “21 demands of the strike committee of Gdańsk in August 1980”.
