In a letter addressed to Haim Bibas, Chairman of the Federation of Local Authorities in Israel, the President of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, Leendert Verbeek, expresses his solidarity with the national, regional and local authorities in the face of the brutal terrorist attacks carried out by Hamas. The President firmly condemns it and expresses the support of the Congress in particular to the authorities and citizens of those communities that have been directly affected by the attacks.
