Secretary General Marija Pejčinović Burić has met the Attorney General of the United Kingdom Victoria Prentis.
The meeting focused on the state of play of the Register of Damage Caused by the Aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
The Secretary General recalled that the Register is intended to constitute the first component of a future international comprehensive compensation mechanism.
Among the subjects discussed were the follow up to the Reykjavik Summit, including the relevance of tackling the smuggling of migrants and advancing negotiations concerning the Council of Europe Artificial Intelligence (AI) Convention.
