The Council of Europe’s Elections and Civil Society Division is organising an international webinar on Wednesday 8 July to highlight the organisation’s standards in the field of youth participation in the decision-making process, specifically by children at local level.
The event, which is part of a project to promote civil participation in democratic decision-making in Ukraine, will bring together representatives from member states, NGO’s, youth organisations and experts on children and youth civil participation. Among the topics to be discussed, the webinar will look at best practices from Ukraine in engaging youth in decision-making processes. Registration for the webinar, which will be held in English, is now open. The deadline for registering is Tuesday 7 July.
