The PC-CP held its annual Plenary meeting in Strasbourg from 5 to 7 November 2024 in Strasbourg.

Mr Gianluca ESPOSITO, Director General, Directorate General of Human Rights and Rule of Law, Council of Europe opened the meeting and participants have discussed various topics, among others: the Draft Committee of Ministers Recommendation regarding the Promotion of Mental Health and the Management of Mental Disorders of Prisoners and Probationers (and its Explanatory Memorandum) and the Revising and updating of Recommendation (89)12 on Education in Prison.
