Liechtenstein makes a voluntary contribution

CHF 210 000 to support the priorities of the Liechtenstein Presidency of the Committee of Ministers.

In the framework of their Presidency of the Committee of Ministers, the Government of Liechtenstein has made a voluntary contribution of CHF 210 000 (approximately €231,000) to support the Council of Europe Action Plans for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, and the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. Liechtenstein's contribution also supports the platform for the safety of journalists, children's rights, the prevention of violence against women, and reducing the backlog of well-founded cases and unexecuted rulings of principle of the European Court of Human Rights.

The agreement was signed on 15 November 2023 by H.E. Ms Dominique Hasler, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Education and Sport of Liechtenstein, and Ms Marija Pejčinović Burić, Secretary General.
