Sweden has made an additional contribution of €1,268,845.76 under the Framework Cooperation Agreement between the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and the Council of Europe. The funds will support the implementation of the Council of Europe's Action Plans for Ukraine, Armenia and the Republic of Moldova, promote cooperation with representatives of Belarusian democratic forces and civil society, and enhance results-based management in Council of Europe cooperation projects.
The total volume of support under the current framework agreement is approximately €8.4 million.
This Agreement with Sida is a multiannual framework agreement, with predictable resources which enable better programming and implementation, and therefore results.
