The Second Steering Committee Meeting of the Action „Strengthening human rights treatment of detained persons based on European standards and best practices in Bosnia and Herzegovina ", took place in Sarajevo on 20 February 2020. Representatives of all partner institutions participated in the meeting.

Results of the Action from the previous period were presented and challenges related to the implementation of the activities were discussed. Participants were informed about the progress related to the introduction of Information Technology in entity prisons and the development of prison software. Information was also shared in regard to the expert needs assessment visit on case management and probation, planned to take place in March 2020.

Steering Committee members discussed and adopted the Work Plan for the upcoming period (March - September 2020). It was agreed to hold the next Steering Committee meeting in September 2020.
