The Council of Europe and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), in co-operation with the national Bar Association, are launching the HELP course on Asylum and Human Rights for Polish legal professionals.

The course addresses main challenges and best practices that legal professionals face in their daily work in the context of migration.

The event is organised as a follow-up to the report of the fact-finding visit to Poland of the Special Representative on Migration and Refugees (SRSG) and in line with the Council of Europe Action Plan on Protecting Vulnerable Persons in the Context of Migration Asylum in Europe (2021-2025).

In addition to Polish legal professionals, the event was attended by representatives of other international organizations and civil society.
