The Ad Hoc European Committee for the World Anti-Doping Agency (CAHAMA) held its sixtieth meeting on 26 and 27 April in Strasbourg.
More than 70 European representatives from Council of Europe member States discussed global anti-doping issues, heard about the progress made on the work of the Drafting Committee on Ensuring Gender Equality in Anti-Doping (GECA), and received an update on the activities of OneVoice.
CAHAMA delegations exchanged views with Witold Banka, President of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), during which the current and future challenges in antidoping and the necessary cooperation to achieve the common goal of clean sport were highlighted.
Alexandre Husting (Luxembourg) was elected as Chair and Amandine Carton (France) as Vice-Chair of CAHAMA, both for a one-year term.
The 61st CAHAMA meeting will be held in Strasbourg, on 5 and 6 September 2023.
