Enriching the Library of the High School of Justice of Georgia

On 24 November 2017 the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Georgia Cristian Urse visited the High School of Justice of Georgia. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the implementation of the final phase of the Strengthening the Capacity of the High School of Justice  Project with the Director of the School Lasha Maghradze and to personally attend the donation of books purchased by the Project for the library of the School.

The lot of books includes publications on a variety of topics of national and international law, European Convention on Human Rights, as well as on communication, leadership and other professional soft skills.

In the words of the Director of the High School of Justice Lasha Maghradze: “the list of books was compiled in a way to complement the process of development of new training modules within the framework of the Council of Europe project. Hence their addition to the library provides a supplementary source of up to date information for both trainers and trainees.”

The donation was conducted within the framework of the Council of Europe Project “Strengthening the capacity of the High School of Justice of Georgia”. This Project is funded by the voluntary contributions of Bulgaria, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Norway, the Slovak Republic and Sweden to support the implementation of the Council of Europe Action plan for Georgia 2016-2019.
